Joining Fifth Third bank in 2017, George, also known as Edward ('Ed"), serves as an assistant vice president and small business community lender. He helps lead an effort to create economic opportunity for diverse businesses and conducts outreach with community partners to expand awareness of Fifth Third Bank throughout the Carolinas. With more than 16 years of business lending experience, Edward has an extensive background in management, business banking and commercial lending.
Edward holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in finance from North Carolina Agriculture and State University.
