About Michael

Mike began his banking career with Old Kent/Fifth Third in 1989. For over 28 years, he has held various positions throughout the Retail Bank, including regional manager in East Lansing and Grand Rapids for the last nine years. In September 2017, after having missed working directly with customers, Mike transitioned into his current role as business banking relationship manager. He leverages his vast experience navigating the bank to assist a broad range of companies with revenues of $2-$20 million. Mike works diligently to fully understand the owners' personal and company goals and delivers solutions aligned with their needs.

Mike grew up on the east side of Michigan in Waterford. After graduating from Michigan State, he moved to Grand Rapids where he and his wife Jennifer have raised their five children.
